Parts
Every part on the canvas, drawn at true size. Open one to see its pins, its settings and how PinBench simulates it.
-
Arduino Uno The ATmega328P board most Arduino tutorials are written for, drawn at its real 68.6 × 53.4 mm.
-
Raspberry Pi Pico W The RP2040 board with 40 castellated pins, lying across a breadboard's channel as the real one does.
-
Half Breadboard A 30-row solderless breadboard with power rails along both edges.
-
Full Breadboard The full-length solderless breadboard, for circuits that outgrow the half-size one.
-
LED A 5 mm LED in seven colours, lit by the current that actually flows through it.
-
RGB LED Three LEDs in one 5 mm lens, sharing a common cathode.
-
Resistor A through-hole resistor with colour bands that follow its value.
-
Capacitor A ceramic disc capacitor, printed with its value code.
-
Electrolytic Capacitor A polarized aluminium electrolytic capacitor. The stripe marks the negative lead.
-
Potentiometer A 10 kΩ rotary potentiometer, the usual way to feed
analogRead()a value you can turn. -
Push Button A four-leg tactile switch, pressed on the canvas while the simulation runs.
-
Slide Switch (SPST) A single-pole slide switch: on or off.
-
Slide Switch (SPDT) A single-pole double-throw slide switch. The middle pin meets one side or the other.
-
Switching Diode (1N4148) The small-signal switching diode in a glass DO-35 body.
-
Rectifier Diode (1N4007) The 1 A general-purpose rectifier, for turning AC into DC and blocking a reversed supply.
-
Schottky Diode (1N5819) A 1 A Schottky diode with a low forward drop.
-
Transistor One part, seven transistors: bipolar, MOSFET and Darlington, in TO-92 and TO-220.
-
Battery (9V) A 9 V PP3 battery with its snap clip, for powering a circuit off the board.
-
Coin Cell (CR2032) A 3 V lithium coin cell in its holder.

-
Microphone (KY-037) A KY-037 sound sensor module with digital and analog outputs.
-
Photoresistor (LDR) A light-dependent resistor: its resistance falls as the light rises.
-
Thermistor (NTC) A 10 kΩ NTC thermistor. Its resistance falls as the temperature rises.
-
Temperature Sensor (TMP36) An analog temperature sensor: 10 mV per °C on a 500 mV offset.

-
Light Sensor (BH1750) An I²C ambient light sensor on the GY-302 module, 1 to 65535 lx.
-
Accelerometer + Gyro (MPU-6050) A 6-axis motion sensor on the GY-521 module, over I²C.
-
PIR Motion Sensor An HC-SR501 style motion sensor whose output holds high after the motion stops.
-
Soil Moisture Sensor A capacitive soil moisture probe with an analog output.
-
Real-Time Clock (DS1307) An I²C real-time clock module with battery backup.
