How PinBench simulates it

  • Eight LEDs, segments A to G and the decimal point, share one cathode that comes out on two pins tied inside.
  • Each segment lights from its own current, so each wants its own resistor.
  • The pins sit in two rows that straddle a breadboard's centre channel.
